What is the CLAT exam?
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is the standard law admission test and an entrance exam for getting admission in law courses. This exam is conducted by a consortium of national law universities.
Students first need to qualify for an entrance exam to get admission in a Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB) degree course or a Master of Law (LLM) course. CLAT is a national-level exam and is conducted offline once a year for a duration of two hours.
